『もののけdiary』（Mononoke daiari）
江戸中・後期に著された「稲生物怪録（いのうもののけろく）」の絵本化。ひとりの青年が16 歳の平太郎の家を訪ねて、７月１日から30 日間に毎日入れ代わり立ち代わり現れた物の怪たちについての話を聞く。１日目は「けだらけのひとつめ」が現れ、２日目は「なまくびおんな」が現れたと言うが、平太郎はまったく動じなかった。すると、最後には魔王が現れて、物の怪の大群と去っていった。左ページには文字が書かれ、右にはカラーの妖怪の絵があり、折り畳んだページを開くと、平太郎と妖怪たちの墨絵が現れる。妖怪たちの絵がユニーク。（土居）

Monster Diary
A picture book version of Ino mononoke roku, a collection of strange tales written in the eighteenth century. A young man visits the home of sixteen-year-old Heitaro, who tells him about the yokai (supernatural creatures) that came to him one after the other for thirty days, beginning on July 1st. On the first day, Heitaro meets a hairy cyclops, on the second, a woman with a severed head. But no matter what kind of yokai appear, he remains unperturbed. In the end, the demon king himself arrives and takes off with his horde of monsters. The tales are written on the lefthand page, with color illustrations on the righthand page. The foldout pages open to reveal unique ink drawings of Heitaro confronted with a yokai. (Doi)
