JBBY希望プロジェクト〔日本に避難してきた子どもたちに本をプレゼントします=Books for child refugees in Japan〕
世界80の国と地域が加盟するIBBY（国際児童図書評議会）は、第二次世界大戦後に、子どもたちのために二度と戦争を起こさないことを願って創設されました。世界中の優れた子どもの本や物語に光を当て、本を通して国際理解を深め、困難に直面している子どもたちに本を用いた支援を続けています。
IBBYの日本支部であるJBBY（日本国際児童図書評議会）も、「希望プロジェクト」を立ち上げ、日本に暮らす、支援が必要な子どもたちのもとへ本を寄贈したり、心をほどくワークショップを開催したりしています。
Eighty National Sections belong to the International Board on Books for Young People (IBBY). It was established after World War II with the hope that children would never have to live through war again. Since its founding, IBBY has focused on children’s books with high literary and artistic standards from around the world, promoted international understanding, and provided books for children in difficult situations.
JBBY, the Japanese Section of IBBY, has set up Kibo (Hope) Project to give books to and conduct workshops for children living in Japan who require special support.
JBBYでは、日本に避難してきた子どもたちへ、本をプレゼントします。
ウクライナに限らず、いろいろな国から来た子どもたちが対象です。

- 該当する子どもにかかわっている施設や団体、また個人でも申し込めます。
- 下の本から、子ども１人につき１冊をお選びください。
- 施設で図書コーナーを設ける場合は、人数に応じたセットでお送りすることもできますので、ご相談ください。
- 送料等ご負担いただく費用は一切ございません。
JBBY will donate books to children who have fled to Japan from other countries.

- If a facility plans to set up a reading corner, JBBY will put together a set of books according to the number of children it is intended for.

【B】ウクライナ語の子どもの本
Children’s Books in Ukrainian
ウクライナの書籍協会は、戦争で国外に避難した子どもたちに、無料で配布できるよう、作家の許諾を得たウクライナ語の子どもの本のデータを準備しました。戦禍を逃れてきたウクライナの子どもたちが、少しでも戦争や暴力を忘れ、安らげる時間をもてるよう、JBBYが簡易印刷してプレゼントします。＊JBBYはこれらの本の内容については把握できておりませんのでご承知おきください。
The Ukrainian Book Institute has made available data for Ukrainian children’s books in the original language. Authors have given permission for these books to be distributed free of charge. JBBY is printing up the books in simplified form in the hope that children escaping war in Ukraine can forget the violence and horror they have witnessed at least while they are reading. (*Please note that JBBY cannot vouch for the content of the books.)

申し込み方法 / How to apply
下記の項目をJBBYへお知らせください。申込書をプリントアウトして記入し送ってくださっても結構です。折り返し、希望プロジェクトの担当者からご連絡をさしあげます。状況を伺ったうえでプレゼントさせていただきます。

- 申込者（氏名・団体名・郵便番号・住所・電話番号・メールアドレス）
- 本の送り先（氏名・郵便番号・住所・電話番号・メールアドレス）
- 子どもの状況（人数と年齢・どちらの国から来ましたか）
Please send the following information to JBBY. An application form is available to be downloaded, printed and sent. As soon as information is received, you will be contacted by Kibo Project staff. Books will be sent as soon as we have the necessary details.
- Book numbers as listed on URL
- Applicant (name, organization, mailing address, telephone number, email address)
- Shipping information (name, mailing address, telephone number, email address)
- Children receiving books (number of children, their ages, and the country they came from)
