ザザさんは森の中の一軒家にひとりで住んでいるお婆さん。文句ばっかり言っているザザさんに嫌気が差したスミコさんという名の家は、ザザさんをベッドごと玄関から放り出し、すたすた歩きだす。家が家出するなんて許せないと、ザザさんはノコギリをつかんで追いかける。空を散歩中の月がその様子を見て、怒ってばかりいないで少しは楽しいことを考えて笑ったらどうかと、ザザさんに言い、ザザさんとスミコさんにおもしろい話をしに夜に何度もやって来る。奇想天外な物語に作者自身が描いた挿絵もユーモラスで楽しい。（野上）

The Moon and Granny Zaza
Zaza is an old woman who lives alone in a house in the forest. The house, which is called Sumiko, gets sick of Zaza’s endless complaining and throws her, still on her bed, out of the front door, then walks off at a smart pace. Zaza can’t take the fact her house is leaving home, and chases after it brandishing a saw. The Moon, on its nightly walk in the sky, notices them and tells Zaza not to be so angry all the time, but to try thinking of funny things and laugh more. The Moon often comes at night to tell Zaza and Sumiko amusing stories. This rather whacky story is accompanied by humorous illustrations drawn by the author herself. (Nogami)
