あべ弘士、石川えりこ、ささめやゆき、田島征三、高橋雅之（デザイナー）、広松由希子（編集者）を発起人に、日本、イギリス、ウクライナ、スロバキア、ブラジル、南アフリカの24 人の絵本作家が、それぞれ想像の国をひとつずつ描いて、手や足などで次の国につなげた、パスポートの体裁のジャバラ絵本。「ジャングランド」「ちゃんぽんの国」などがある。「閉塞感のある日常で、国境を越えて子どもたちに希望を伝えたい」という思いが絵から伝わる。収益の一部はウクライナの子どもたちの支援のために寄付される。（土居）

Earth Passport

This picture book was initiated by a group of six authors. When Russia began invading Ukraine, one of these authors, Yuki Sasameya announced, “Even if there’s nothing we can do, we must still try. Even if we can’t fix the broken buildings, at least we can carry a stone or two.” The group reached out to picture book authors in Japan and elsewhere, gathering a total of
twenty-four contributors. Each one created their own imaginary country over a two-page folding spread. Some element from each country links the adjoining countries together, such as a hand touching a tail, and the book, which unfolds in accordion style, is designed like a passport. Countries include places like Flyingstan and Slowland. Part of sales proceeds goes to support
children in Ukraine. (Doi)
