『もぐらくんの なやみごと』
雪のふる日、あるなやみごとのあるもぐらくんは、雪のはらを歩いていく。もぐらくんは、「ぼうや、なやみごとがあったら、雪だるまを作ってごらん」というおばあちゃんのことばを思い出し、雪だるまをころがしはじめる。もぐらくんの小さな姿が、大きな自然の風景の中に描かれ、しだいに大きくなっていく雪だるまは、もぐらくんのなやみごとがどんどんふくらんでいくのを、あらわしているよう。ところが、雪だるまの中からでてきた友だちの話をきいてみると、みんな、もぐらくんと同じことになやんでいるのだった。みんなと、ささやかな日常をともにすることで、自然に友だちができることをおしえてくれるお話。

어느 날 두더지는 눈밭을 걷다 ‘얘야, 고민이 있을 때면 눈덩이를 굴려 보렴’하고 할머니의 말을 떠올리며 눈덩이를 굴리기 시작한다. 두더지의 작은 모습은 풍경과 대비되고, 점점 커지는 눈덩이는 두더지의 고민을 시각화하여 보여준다. 눈 속에서 만난 친구들의 사연을 듣고, 혼자만의 고민이 아니었음을 알게 된다. 그리고 친구들과 소소한 일상을 나누며 자연스럽게 친구가 되는 과정을 보여 준다.
Little Mole’s Worry
One day, a mole with a lot on his mind starts rolling a snowball, as he recalls the words of his grandmother, saying, “Child, roll a snowball when you are faced with a problem.” The small figure of the mole contrasts with the wide-open landscape, and the ever-growing snowball serves as a visual symbol of the mole’s troubles. Listening to the stories of friends he meets in the snow, he realizes that he is not alone in his troubles. The story describes how the mole gradually makes friends by sharing details of his daily life.
