A Small Flower Blooms
A little dandelion pushes between the cracks in the paving stones at the end of the arcade where it blooms out of season. The flower is in danger of being trampled on by people passing through. They are almost picked by a little girl, and are drenched by cold rain, yet the plant keeps bravely blooming. Marle, a puppy belonging to the owner of a café, and Misia, a street kitten, befriend it and do everything they can to protect it. But in the end, the snow falls, and the flower turns into seeds that fly into the sky. The puppy Marle observes all these changes with innocent surprise.
