A spinoff of the twelve-volume Stories of Kosoado Woods series, which features a range of eccentric characters living in a fantastical forest. This collection of seven stories relates seven secret episodes, each of which was experienced by just one of the characters and unknown to all the rest. They include Tomato’s encounter with a little ogre when she was washing her husband Pott’s trousers, the carpenter Geeko’s chance meeting with a crow who told him about a riverbank that feels good, and an episode about how the writer Towaie discovered some flowers while searching for his pencil.
