This picture book depicts a two-day trip by a boy and his father in a campervan called Noronoro-go (The Rambler). They get in the van taking as little luggage as possible with them, and set off. They cross the sea by ferry, and arrive at a campground in the mountains. On the ferry and at the campground, they meet people using small trucks converted into campervans, and get to look inside them. We also see them using the facilities in the van to prepare their meals, and going to sleep on the van’s beds. It is super interesting to see all the gadgets in the van throughout the trip. The endpapers show the map of the trip and the way the van is fitted out. (Doi)
