One frosty winter night, Mikel the fox decided to go to a farm to get supper. Little did he know that the farm was being guarded by a dwarf who will not let anybody harm its inhabitants. So, the fox could not catch a chicken for his dinner. However, he made friends with the dwarf who treated him to delicious porridge instead. Astrid Lindgren wrote this little Christmas story based on the original poem by Karl-Erik Forslund. Eva Eriksson’s illustrations featured in the book create a magical winter mood.
