視線を少し変えるだけで、目の前には新しい光景が現れる。たとえば、教室の窓の外を「数字の怪物」が歩いていき、校庭のケヤキの木々の間ではトリケラトプスが踊り、授業の始まりを告げるチャイムが鳴るのと同時に、机の上の落書きのカタツムリがはい出していく。五感を刺激する豊かさに満ちた、詩人ならではの遊び心あふれる言葉づかいによって、教室の中の子どもたちの心のなかに、全く新しい世界が広がり始める。
