IBBY（国際児童図書評議会）が年４回発行している機関誌「Bookbird」は、世界の子どもの本の動向を知る貴重な資料です。

第63-２号「特集：児童文学において人間とは違う存在を受け入れること」

　2025年第２号【Vol.63, No.2】は、「Embracing the Nonhuman Agents in Children’s Literature」です。スウェーデン、オランダ、スペイン、スロベニア、カナダ、サウジアラビア等の研究者の記事が掲載されています。

　巻末の「Focus IBBY」では、UNESCOとの協働で新たに発足した消えゆく言語を残すためのプロジェクトについて、2025年に採択された10件のIBBY山田プロジェクトについて紹介されています。
